“… if one can only remember what one has seen, one is never empty of thoughts or truly lonely....” Vincent Van Gogh
Collecting is a form of self expression.
To be touched by art is to double our awareness, it’s to be reawakened by the experience of living.
When you fall in love with a piece of art and add it to your collection, it’s honoring those feelings and thoughts which are profoundly yours; shared and given physical form by an artist.
All original pieces include a signed certificate of authenticity; payment plans are available.

Art from the Heart
Thimgan’s art flows from her reverence for the fragility and wonder of life; sometimes colorful and impressionistic while at other times dark and thoughtful.
Her work and subject matter has often been compared to that of notable French, Dutch, English and American painters of the 19th Century, but you’ll also find scenes based on books, films, and places in the heart.
Hundreds of original artworks are in private and public collections.

[Show attendees] can admire her romanticized oil paintings– stare into the deep eyes of “La Donna Incinta”, observe a tranquil scene of clouds and trees and almost touch the glass in her still life paintings.

I’ve studied the piece she created and I cry every time. She gave emotion to them. That’s the only way I can describe it. Thimgan Hayden….truly, the trio of my lifetime, and you have created the gift of a lifetime.

I love Thimgan’s work - the detail, depth and colors - from still life, landscapes to even a portrait of my pup!! Knowing that she studied abroad and puts those skills into each item makes them all the more special. I own several of her pieces and treasure each one!

Thimgan, I have to tell you that this process has been a wonderful experience. You showed real patience with me when I was taking a while to send you pictures of the kids and our house or setting a date to come see you. Then we had our little adventure to come see you and you took so many great pictures of the kids for me ( especially R. who will not let anybody take her picture). We finished up our trip to see you with a fancy dinner... and our time with you in your studio is all we talked about. Since you sent the first update photos of the paintings in November, I make sure to check my texts and emails every night in case another update comes through. Thank you for making this a wonderful experience and not just a transaction. We look forward to the next update! Thank you.

Thimgan has been an absolute delight to work with on our first portrait of our newborn son. As first time parents, Thimgan was accommodating and used inspiration from our home, his nursery, etc. to make it feel so comfortable for us. Not only that, but the portrait came out so much like our son. She captured his cheeks perfectly and now every time we look at his portrait in his nursery, we're reminded of those chunky cheeks.

I write to share with you how delighted I am with the legacy portrait. It is a very realistic likeness of myself. Someday it will be a worthy addition to the hall of the portraits of the previous bishops of Grand Rapids. The portrait commission contract was very clear and appropriately detailed. The “live” sittings were two in number and conducted with professionalism and great expertise, especially the attention to detail. I was also grateful for your recommendation on the size of the portrait and the selection of a frame design and company. I appreciated your timely communications to keep me informed about the progress of the portrait. I wish you many more portrait commissions. This area is your forte!New List Item
