"Friday's Child - Mixed Daffodils" 12"x16" oil on panel
"Friday's Child - Mixed Daffodils" 12"x16" oil on panel
“Friday's child is loving and giving.” (an old rhyme)
But the REAL reason this painting is called “Friday’s Child” is because of one of the books. In this piece, I included my copy of Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen) on the bottom, the green book, and the top book is “Friday’s Child” by English author Georgette Heyer. This painting is a tribute to the joys of reading and writing on a fine day… The daffodils are from my garden and the pen was given to me years ago by a dear friend and lifelong penpal, Robert James. It’s been painted before and will be painted again!
This oil painting on panel measures 12x16 inches. UNFRAMED
