THE STORY

A favorite floral of mine, the original piece I pulled for my own collection after selling its mate, “Peonies and Strawberries I”. The brushwork and color sensitivity matches the highest standards I hold for myself! I adore florals by Henri Fantin-Latour, so anytime I apprehend his brush poetry, I am proud it! The naturalism and the beauty of this fleeting moment in summer is all here. It’s pure poetry.
